Tynor Coccyx Cushion Seat, Grey, 1 Unit

The Tynor Coccyx Cushion Seat, a shaped cushion of high-density PU foam, goes on an office chair, a car seat or a sofa. A cut-out at the back leaves the tailbone clear of the seat, and the contoured top shares your body weight across the rest of the cushion. It comes in a soft plush cover that zips off for washing.

Key benefits

• A cut-out at the back leaves open space under the tailbone, so it is not pressed into the seat as you sit.
• The contoured top shares your body weight evenly across the cushion for a steady sitting surface.
• High-density PU foam gives firm, springy cushioning and is made to hold its shape with regular use.
• A rubberised non-slip base keeps the cushion where you put it, and the plush cover zips off to wash.

Features

• Coccyx cut-out: An open space in the foam at the back of the cushion sits under the tailbone and keeps your weight off it.
• Anatomical contour: The top is shaped to the body, and the single universal size suits most chairs.
• High-density PU foam: Resilient foam keeps its firmness over time and gives you a stable surface to sit on.
• Non-slip base: A rubberised underside grips the seat, so the cushion does not slide about while you use it.
• Plush fabric cover: Soft to sit on, with mesh side panels and a zip, so you can take it off and wash it.

Commonly used for

Long hours of sitting at a desk, in the car or at home, when you want the tailbone kept clear of the seat and your weight spread more evenly. If a doctor or physiotherapist has given you advice on sitting after an injury or a procedure, use the cushion as they suggest.
